In recent years, PC-based control systems have been in a stage of rapid growth. Especially in the electronics industry, driven by the entire industry's demand for machine vision, data upload, and software openness, PC-based control systems have gradually changed from a trend to a mainstream control solution. However, in traditional industries, the penetration rate of PC-based control systems is still relatively low.

However, with the continuous deepening of intelligent manufacturing reforms, we found that even in the traditional automation industries, such as metal product welding and polishing, custom furniture cutting and other fields, PC-based control systems also show their unique value.

 

 

Quick product changeover

Taking the polishing of metal products as an example, even if it is polishing the same type of products, equipment customers need to teach product data conveniently. Traditional PLC and motion controller products require engineers to set a large number of product parameters on the touch screen to plan the product path, which causes an astonishing workload and greatly increases the difficulty of designing the equipment's human-computer interaction interface.

 

 

Through the CAD control in the visualization function of ProU winPLC, the user can directly import the mechanical design document of the part and transform it into a motion path. The user can also modify the transformed motion path and M code. Store different processing path data of different products at the same time.

The built-in motion control module of winPLC automatically converts motion path information into precise motion control without the need for additional intervention by engineers.

Precision machining of non-precision parts
